KRISTA AND KURT MARRIED ON MAY 3RD 2008
Irene and Francesca,
Thank you so much for all of your help planning our wedding. The whole process was so easy & care free and the end result was so much better than we had even dreamed. From the very start it was so easy picking out the details like the location, the flowers, food, cake etc. all through email & pictures. And you were always so prompt in writing back right away! Our big group (60 guests) raved about the rehearsal dinner La Casa Del Agua. It was hands down the best food we ate the whole time we were there. In our opinion, its definitely Playa’s best restaurant. As far as the wedding ceremony on the secluded beach, it was so much more beautiful than we could have imagined. The location was gorgeous and we were the only ones there! We witnessed numerous weddings throughout the week on the busy beaches in Playa were the wedding party was being stared at by people in bathing suits, meanwhile loud wave runners rushing by in the background. We had to feel sorry for these people! Ours was exactly as we had hoped ( actually even better)…a serene, breathtaking beach with no else around. On top of the amazing backdrop, the flowers were stunning,…they did such a beautiful job on the arch and the bouquets. Everyone really enjoyed the the guitar trio as well. And finally, champagne & appetizers on the beach were the perfect way to keep the guests entertained while we finished up the picture taking. It all couldn’t have been more perfect. The reception at Maramao was a blast. What a perfect setting with the ocean steps away, the palm trees all lit up, yet were were still secluded in our own little world.. We had quite a party that night…the DJ was awesome, the food was fantastic, & the attentive waiters kept the drinks & the shots flowing. Many of our guests raved it was the best wedding ever and we would have to agree. There is no way we could have done it without your help. You guys really know what you’re doing. Especially after seeing other weddings in Playa, we know for sure we went with the best in the biz. Here is the link to or wedding pictures so others can see just how beautiful our wedding turned out to be:

CAROL AND MARK MARRIED ON JUNE 27 08
Dear Irene & Francesca,
We would just like to say a BIG BIG BIG Thank you for all that you done for myself and Marks wedding on June 27th 2008. I could not believe it when my Travel Agent (First Choice) telephoned me on 31 December 07 to tell me that I couldn’t get married at my hotel as it was double booked, I thought my world had collapsed as this had been booked for 8 months and I thought all my party of 26 would have to cancel the holiday/wedding as we really wanted to stay in the hotel which we had booked. Then we found Caribbean Blue Weddings on the internet, From the moment I first got in contact with Irene everything ran like clockwork just from exchanging emails. I must admit that I was a little bit worried sending money to someone that I had never met, but it was not a problem. Looking back now I am so glad we did not get married at our resort as we watched the weddings everyday from our hotel balcony and they were not private, and after the wedding ceremony everyone just seemed to be hanging about waiting on one of the restaurants opening for there wedding dinner, then when they finished the meal they had to sit in the hotel bar along with all holidaymakers (not what you want to be doing on your wedding day)!!! Well the wedding day, We got our flowers delivered to our room (which were stunning), then our transport arrived at the hotel 1 bus for the men and 1 for the women which took us to a private beach for the ceremony which was nice and breezy. The flowered Arch was beautiful and the seating was all colour coordinated, we had the mariachi band on the beach and champagne and canapés for after the wedding. The photographers were fantastic and stayed with us until the reception, they came to the hotel a couple of days later to show us the photos (Not a dry eye in our whole group), the DVD and photos were great we bought the lot haha!!. Onto the reception at the Maramo, what a night!!! The setting on the beach was breathtaking, the meal was the best ever, the cocktails kept flowing and our CD’s kept us all dancing well into the night, everyone cant stop talking about it, We will all be recommending yourselves to anybody going to Mexico to get married. The only bad thing was when the day ended. Many thanks again for the best day ever, and we hope to see you again. Mark, Carol & poppy xxxxxx

ALEX AND GARETH MARRIED ON APRIL 14 2008
A huge thank you to Irene, Francesca and everyone involved in helping us plan and organise our dream wedding in beautiful Mexico! You would think that planning a wedding abroad would be a stressful, trying ordeal but that was certainly not the truth in our case, Irene and Francesca covered every detail - from the flowers, to the secluded beach where the ceremony was held, the fantastic Mariachi band that we requested- a big hit with the guests!- to the stylish open air beach front restaurant for the reception afterwards (Maramao beach club), this was the perfect after ceremony location for lounging about with a cocktail in your hand, having a laugh while the sun goes down. We could have brought our own cd’s to play but it wasn’t necessary, the restaurants own music was spot-on, : a mix of trendy lounge/chilled house music. A few days prior to the wedding we met with Irene, Francesca and our Reverend (Sharon) to go through all the details and last minute adjustments which put our minds at ease, allowing us to relax and enjoy the days leading up to the wedding. We are extremely grateful for the professionalism of these two lovely women, our wedding co-coordinators, and we, and our 40 guests had a truly amazing time!We also feel it is important to mention our photographers. They are two very talented, very kind, and very patient men, who captured the very special moments throughout that day and evening. Thanks to them, our memories will never fade. We’ll be back in 5 years for a renewal of our vows Irene! Thank you for everything!!
Lots and lots of love,
Alex and Gareth alexandra_smith1977@yahoo.co.uk
SUSAN AND JOSE MARRIED ON MAY 30 2008
Dear Irene and Francesca,
A HUGE thank you and big hug for making our dream of having an intimate catholic ceremony a reality! You made all the planning so easy, and most of all you were such a joy to work with! Your quick and thorough email responses made us feel as if we were the only couple you were working with. You were always so patient, cheerful and helpful (especially as we were going through the Catholic paperwork process here at home J!).
I was so glad I decided to have my hair and makeup done, because Doranna and Olivia were amazing! On top of that, they were both such sweethearts. And the flowers! I absolutely adored my white roses/lilies bouquet, it was so hard to leave it behind! The corsages, bout’s, and arrangements at the chapel were all so beautiful too. Speaking of the chapel, we were so glad that we chose it…we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. How can you beat getting married with the blue Caribbean and palm trees as your backdrop, it was simply breathtaking! The violinist/vocalist during our mass were great too, they really captured the music we wanted for the ceremony. Finally, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and food at Casa del Agua! The trio that played for us during dinner was awesome, and the cake looked exactly like the picture I sent you. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day! Even with the transportation delay issue we had on the way to the chapel, you and the staff at Hotel La Tortuga were on it to find another option to get us there asap.
We are very fortunate to have found you through Hotel La Tortuga. I have to also commend Anna Bassi of their staff - she was super helpful in answering all my preliminary wedding questions before handing me over to you after I made the deposit (which by the way was so easy to do!). The hotel was also a great place to stay, I highly recommend it as well!
I have to admit we are a little sad to be back home after such a memorable wedding and honeymoon, but we are now motivated to go back to Playa and have you help us plan our anniversary vow renewal! J
Muchisimas gracias!!!!!!
Susan and Jose
