Early on the planning stages we realized that having a package wedding at a resort just wasn’t what we were looking for.  We wanted something customized to our desires…a Private, Natural Beach Ceremony and then a wonderful mexican meal at a Palapa style restaurant on the Beach where we could have privacy, cake and dancing.  So I went on a search for a wedding coordinator that could meet our needs.  After reading rave reviews about Caribbean Blue Weddings on the Best Destination Weddings Forum we decided to see if they could meet our needs.  From the first initial email I knew that Irene and Francesca were the coordinators for us.  They were always so responsive and flexible. CBW gave me piece of mind that our big day would be exactly how we wanted it to be even though we were planning it from  thousands of miles away.  Upon arrival in Mexico they met with us to discuss the details of the ceremony/decorations/reception and everything turned our better than we could of even imagined it being.  From the flowers to the ceremony site, everything was so magical.  Having their help in keeping the day rolling with pictures, dinner and cutting the cake was priceless.  I would highly recommend Irene and Francesca to anyone thinking of having their wedding in the Riviera Maya.  I can’t say enough kind words. pbobzin@live.com 

Ben and I were looking to have a private, magical wedding day and CBW delivered exactly that. The ceremony was gorgeous and the CBW girls were great at making sure everything ran smoothly, even providing a successful back up plan during a stormy week! The location was gorgeous and we were so happy to have booked with CBW and not a hotel as the experience was kept between us and our guests and was incredibly intimate and moving. wedding in Playa del Carmen

Not knowing exactly what to expect since it was only my husband and I in the wedding, the moment we arrived at the semi-private beach in Playa Del Carmen, we knew it was going to be great! Between the beautiful beach, the graciousness of the minister, the amazing photographers and Irene’s unbelievable willingness to make everything perfect, our wedding on June 29, 2010 was far beyond what we ever could have hoped for! My husband and I were married on 16th July 2010 and it truly was a fantastic day. Through out the planning stage we felt at ease, we put our trust in Irene to provide a wedding to be remembered and we were not disappointed.  The location was private and secluded, just perfect.  The pictures were amazing. Dennis was second to none, he truly is a fantastic photographer.  All our guests commented on how good he was.  The pictures were so good that we ended up buying all of them! The flowers and arch were beautiful, could not have asked for better.  Estela, the Justice who carried out the ceremony made us feel relaxed and the ceremony was beautiful.  We had dinner reservations at Casa Del Agua, the food was amazing and staff very attentive. It was a lovely restaurant, our table was next to a beautiful waterfall feature, just perfect! WOW…that’s all we keep hearing from everyone, and we can tell when we look in their eyes how envious they are. Our Vow Renewal ceremony(25th Wedding Anniversary) was perfect and we really could not asked for more. There where just the four of us, Yurika and I and our two adult daughters Aria and Tiera. We found Caribbean Blue Weddings on the Internet and started corresponding with Irene as to our wants and wishes for this special day, we quickly felt  very comfortable with her and booked the day. Our wish list included a few extras, such as hotel reservations for one night close to the ceremony location, dinner plans, the cake delivered to the restaurant, special orchids for my wife’s hair which need to be delivered to the hotel, etc. CBW did a great job, they stayed in communication with us weekly (sometimes daily) prior to the ceremony, covered all the details, and concerns via email and actually we never spoke in person until the day before the ceremony. Yurika had found pictures of the cake, bouquets, and a few other things that she wanted and Irene really came through on making them look just like the pictures. The Officiator had prepared a wonder spiritual vow ceremony that really touched our hearts, it was sincere and very fitting. Oh and then there was the photographer, Nicoletta…wow what a ton of energy and fun! She was creative, and really enjoys her job…and simply didn’t a great job and is a wonderful photographer. “Our wedding was absolutely perfect, minus the weather, but who could control that?  Irene did an amazing job and paid attention to every last detail.  Just from reading the testimonials and emailing other brides, I knew we were in good hands.  The location, the flowers, the trio, my hair…all of it was perfect.  Because of the rain, we ended up having to rent a palapa roof, but it was still gorgeous and they did an excellent job with the set-up.  The photos turned out beautiful- I think the bad weather actually made them better!  I was trying to cut costs by not doing the Trio, but Irene insisted and I’m so glad she did.  Even though I don’t really remember them that much, all of my guests kept commenting on how great they were.  It was nice entertainment for the guests while the bridal party took pictures on the beach.  I wouldn’t hesitate to use Caribbean Blue Weddings again (not that I’m planning on it!).  Please feel free to email me with questions, erynn.huff@gmail.com

Our wedding couldn’t have gone any smoother. After reading your testimonials on your website I had no doubts that you two ladies would do a fabulous job. All of my emails and concerns were answered in a timely manner and everything went smooth. Our wedding party was only six people so planning wasn’t very stressful at all. Francesca met us at hotel La Tortuga and gave us an itinerary for our day. Caribbean Blue took care of the transportation, the flowers, which I loved and the hairdresser plus dinner reservations for after the wedding at Yaxche, which I would totally recommend.
